It's been a while since I've taught a Paintings Every Kid Should Know class, and I miss it!  In this class, kids will learn about different painting techniques, the history behind the art & the artists. We will recreate their own version of the different famous Masterpieces using the techniques from these famous paitings that Every Kid Should Know!
 
Each week you'll see your kids art knowledge & creativity grow & thrive!  As they explore a wide variety of painting from impressionism to pop art and painting with gold leaf to painting on their backs just like Michaleangelo! 
 
Some of the Paintings we will study are Starry Night by VanGogh ~ Shot Marilyns by Andy Warhol ~ Water Lilies Series by Monet ~The Kiss by Gustav Klimt ~ The Sistine Chapel by Michaelangelo ~ A Sunday on La Grande Jette by Seurat ~ The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai ~ The Scream By Edvard Munch
 
This is a small group art class with no more than 12 kids
Afterschool on Tuesdays from 4-5:15pm 
Session 1: 4 weeks, September 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th
Session 2: 4 weeks, October 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
