Animal Art for Kids is a 4-week kids art class designed to build confidence, creativity, and artistic skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Each week, students will choose an animal to create a portrait—whether it’s their own pet or a favorite animal—and explore a new art medium, including pencil & ink, watercolors, acrylics, and pastels.
Students will learn age-appropriate techniques such as sketching, color mixing, blending, and creating texture, all while being gently guided step-by-step. Creativity and personal expression are encouraged, and children will have input in how their artwork looks and feels.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced young artists alike. All materials are provided, and students will leave with multiple finished artworks they’ll be proud to share.
 
Class will be taught by Chelsea McGhee in my Studio
~ This Session will be on 4 Mondays in Feb & March ~ for Ages 7 and up ~
 Sessions will be on 2/2, 2/16, 3/2 & 3/16 from 6:15-7:30pm
 
Class will not have more than 12 artists
I will provide a popcorn snack during the classes, but please bring a water bottle.
