ABOUT

"Every Child is an Artist.
The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up."

- Pablo Picasso -

Chelsea McGhee

I am humbled and grateful for the joy that comes from being an artist.  Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved all things Art.  I have distinct memories of standing in awe of the murals and art that adorn the museums and restaurants in Chicago, and the passion it ignited in my life long love of creating! Over the past 15 years, I've been blessed with amazing opportunities to paint in grocery stores, restaurants, churches, libraries, factories, model homes, dental offices, and many kitchens & children's bedrooms.  In 2008, I illustrated The Fox behind the Chatterbox, a children's book about internet safety. I graduated from North Park University after studying Art and Communications, but the creative inflencers in my life are abundant.  I am so thankful & excited for the support of my husband, kids, parents & friends in the opening of my own art studio!

It is my intent to provide a place that nurtures, inspires & affirms artists of all ages in the joy of creating! I hope to meet you there!
